June 29, 2013
Tall Oaks, U.S.A.

President Benford: Bio-organic weapons are a global threat and we are partly to blame… start working with the rest of the world…the Raccoon City Incident… the Raccoon City… I’m going to tell them everything… it might create more problems than it solves… I’ve always valued your friendship, Leon.

Leon: Stay right where you are! Mr. President! Don’t make me do this. Adam!
Helena: It’s all my fault. I… I did this.
Leon: What are you talking about?
Helena: Tall Oaks Cathedral… I’ll explain everything there, Agent Kennedy.
Leon: How do you know my name?
Helena: Yes?
Leon: Hunnigan?
Hunnigan: Thank God you’re both all right.
Leon: How do you two know each other?
Hunnigan: That’s Helena Harper, she’s been with the Secret Service since last year. I can’t tell you how good it is to hear you two are all right. Look, I hate to rush the introductions but I need a report on your situation.
Leon: I… I just shot the president.
Hunnigan: What are you—
Helena: He had already been infected by the time we found him. Leon… Leon did what he had to. He saved my life.
Hunnigan: God help us. All right, I’ll submit the report. You two just focus on getting the hell out of there. The virus has already spread three miles past the campus perimeter and it’s not slowing down. You need to hurry.
Helena: Not before we check out Tall Oaks Cathedral. Agent Kennedy’s got a lead that might tell us who’s responsible for this.
Hunnigan: Leon, is that true?
Leon: … Yeah. I think I might have something.
Hunnigan: Roger that. I’ll map out the safest access route. Keep your radio on.
Leon: I got a lead?
Helena: You will if you come with me.

Leon: Adam… I’m sorry… So what’s so special about this church? You have some sins to confess?
Helena: It’s hard to explain. If I don’t tell you at the cathedral… you may not believe me.
Leon: You’re gonna tell me everything once we get to the cathedral. Deal?
Helena: Deal.
Leon: Here too. This is getting out of control. The power’s out… You see one of them, aim for the head. It’s your best bet.
Helena: Got it.
Leon: This was where the reception was gonna be. They’d all be here eating dinner right now if…
Helena: … You think anyone survived?
Leon: I hope so. I can’t believe this is happening again. It’s just like Raccoon.
Helena: The Raccoon City Incident. You were one of the survivors.
Leon: Yeah… I’ll never forget it. We’re going to this cathedral of yours — but if you really did have a hand in this… You can kiss your freedom goodbye.
Helena: I know. What was that?
Leon: Only one way to find out… Let’s go! In the back!

Liz’s Father: Wait! Don’t shoot!
Leon: Are you all right?
Liz’s Father: The fog…
Helena: What?
Liz’s Father: The fog… It came out of nowhere. Liz!
Leon: Wait!
Liz’s Father: Let me go!
Leon: It’s too dangerous!
Liz’s Father: My daughter! She’s all alone! If we don’t do something…
Leon: All right, I get it. But if you don’t keep it down, you won’t live to save her. You understand?
Liz’s Father: Liz…
Leon: Is that your daughter? All right, let’s find her.
Helena: Leon, we don’t have time to —
Leon: We’re making the time.
Liz’s Father: Liz… Where are you?
Helena: What was that sound?
Leon: They’re scared…
Helena: Who turned the lights off?
Leon: Stay sharp. That’s quite a draft!
Liz’s Father: We need to find her.
Leon: We will. Just stay close.
Liz’s Father: Thank you… Liz? Liz!
Leon: Wonder how much time we have before these corpses are on their feet…
Liz’s Father: Please answer. It’s your Daddy, Liz!
Leon: You all right?
Liz’s Father: I will be once I find my daughter. I called her cell, but we got cut off. I know she’s here… somewhere.
Leon: We’ll need to get the elevator working again.
Liz’s Father: It’s locked but I work here. I’ve got the keys. Once we’re in, we can take my car.
Leon: Thanks. Now, let’s find Liz and get the hell outta here.
Liz’s Father: Liz? Liz, is that you?
Leon: … Careful.
Liz’s Father: Liz!
Liz: Dad! Where are mom and Liam?
Liz’s Father: They… they already got out. They’re waiting for us at home.
Leon: How do we get out of this place?
Liz’s Father: The underground parking lot. The elevator is up ahead. Hopefully it still works.
Leon: Let’s get this out of our way.
Liz’s Father: I’m glad you guys were here.

Liz’s Father: It’s going to be OK, Lizzie. You’re going to be OK.
Liz: Dad…
Liz’s Father: We’re almost there! Liz?
Helena: The power! Oh my God…!
Leon: She’s already gone! Shoot her!
Helena: But…! I… I can’t believe this.
Leon: Well get used to it. It’s either them or us — and they don’t hesitate.
Helena: Why did this have to happen? I don’t think we’re alone in here…
Leon: Helena! Grab your gun. Shit! Don’t let them in!

Leon: That’s our cue to get the hell outta here.
Helena: I couldn’t agree more.
Leon: Let’s go.
Helena: Leon, it’s too late! There’s nothing we can do.
Leon: You’re right. Let’s get the hell outta here.

Leon: He said it was some sort of fog. If this thing spreads in gas form… Then anyone who breathed it in got infected.
Helena: That would mean… everyone on campus.
Leon: Yeah. But then why’s it so quiet? I’ve got a bad feeling about this.
Helena: Sorry. Didn’t mean to do that.

Leon: I wonder if there are any survivors…

Hunnigan: Get to the security gate, it’ll lead you off the campus.
Leon: Hunnigan, the gate’s locked. Anything you can do?
Hunnigan: Sorry, not from here. Try the staff building behind the bleachers. I’m guessing you’ll find keys for the gate there.

Leon: Keep that trigger finger ready. Never know what’s around the next corner.
Helena: Got it.
Leon: Hunnigan, the door’s locked! There’s no way out!
Hunnigan: I’m on it! Just give me a minute!
Helena: There’s so many! We can’t take ‘em all!
Leon: Now we know where all the infected were hiding out!
Hunnigan: This is some pretty tight security for a college campus!
Leon: Any day now, Hunnigan! We gotta get out of here!
Hunnigan: I’ve almost got it. Hang on!
Helena: It’s open! Get out of here, now!
Leon: It’s just one surprise after another!

Leon: Shoulda known better…
Hunnigan: Take a right up ahead! You’re almost there! Keep running!
Leon: I think we just found our ride outta here! Dammit, no keys!
Helena: Are you sure?
Leon: I’m looking! What about the glove compartment!?
Helena: No, nothing!
Leon: Jacking a car isn’t as easy as it looks in the movies! At least the wipers work…
Helena: Should we hot-wire it?
Leon: Hold on… Found the keys!
Helena: It’s clear behind us. Back up!
Leon: You buckled in?
Helena: Yeah.
Leon: Then hold on! We made it off campus. Now we just gotta get through town…
Helena: … Without getting killed.

Hunnigan: Leon! Helena! Are you two all right?
Leon: Hangin’ in there. But we need another way to the cathedral.
Hunnigan: Well, I’ve found an underground route that may be safer.
Leon: The sewers, huh? Great.

Helena: I’m fine. We should hurry.
Leon: What’s the matter? Not a fan of sewers?
Helena: Come on, let’s just get to the cathedral, and then I’ll tell you everything.

President Benford: I’m going to tell them everything. Everything we know about the Raccoon City Incident.
Leon: But sir…
President Benford: A lot of people are questioning my desire to reveal the truth. I know where they’re coming from. It might create more problems than it solves. A lesson I learned well in the military. Bio-organic weapons are a global threat and we are partly to blame. We have to come clean and start working with the rest of the world… if we want to have any chance of fighting this.
Leon: Whatever you decide, sir, I’m with you.
President Benford: I’ve always valued your friendship, Leon. It’s time we take responsibility and end this mess.

Leon: It’s gonna be a tough road.
Helena: Let’s get moving. We don’t have much time.
Leon: Certainly got our work cut out for us.
Helena: Believe me, I know.
Hunnigan: Leon, Helena. We’ll be out of contact when you’re in here. I’ll still be tracking your movements, but be careful.

Helena: Train’s coming! How are the trains still running?
Leon: There was no one at the controls…. Zombie express.
Helena: Leon!

Leon: Great… How’s that for timing?
Helena: Mine’s out too. I’m almost blind here.

Leon: Not my lucky day…
Helena: Look out! Train!
Leon: We’re not getting that open.
Helena: I wanna have a look around in there. Boost me up on top.
Leon: Just don’t leave me behind.

Passenger: Hey! Hey! I need you to open this door! Hurry! I have to save Peter! Please!
Helena: We’ll never get to the cathedral at this rate. Wait, no! Don’t open that!
Passenger: Oh god, Peter! Peter, hang on! I’m coming!

Hunnigan: Good, you made it. You can reach the street level from there.
Leon: What are conditions like up there?
Hunnigan: It’s gotten pretty bad. “Hell on Earth” isn’t much of a stretch.

Hunnigan: You two will have to cross that part of town to get to the cathedral. Keep your lines open in case you run into trouble.
Leon: Helena! Car! Why do I feel like this is just the tip of the iceberg… Hold on, I’ll get you out!
Helena: Hunnigan was right… Everything’s gone to hell! Hurry! We don’t have time to deal with them.
Leon: Having a bad case of déjà vu…
Helena: They’re gonna be all over us with that alarm going off.
Leon: Only if we wait here. Come on!

Leon: Guess we’re not going that way.
Hunnigan: Good idea. You’ll be safer if you keep indoors as much as possible.
Leon: Maybe we can even catch our breath.
Helena: Didn’t you hear me say we have to hurry?

Journalist: … The Navy submarine went missing on the 26th of this month, at 11:27 P.M. However, a final transmission was received from the vessel before its disappearance…. A transmission alluding to a potential attack, from an organization or individual of unknown origin. Authorities are proceeding with extreme caution as they do not yet know who is responsible.
Leon: Damn it, it’s locked.

Helena: What is that!?
Leon: Ugh, that scream… It’s like nails on a chalkboard.

Leon: Hunnigan, the door’s locked.
Hunnigan: Dammit! Is there any way to get over the gate?
Leon: Up and over!
Helena: Leon, it’s open!

Nancy: Why is this happening!? No! I don’t wanna die!
Leon: Survivors, come on! We have to help ‘em.
Helena: … All right.
Peter: Die you cannibal freaks! Where the hell are they coming from?
Rookie Police Officer: My first day as a cop and already I’m in a shootout!
Peter: I’ll die before I become a zombie!
Nancy: Peter, don’t leave me!
Peter: Are you kidding me? I don’t need you slowing me down!
Rookie Police Officer: Stay calm, people! Choose a target before shooting!
Peter: Who made you the leader!?
Nancy: Peter, wait!
Rookie Police Officer: Forget him! He’ll just get you killed!
Nancy: Who asked you!?
Leon: Holy shit!
Rookie Police Officer: Someone shoot the gas! We can blow these things to kingdom come! Hey, c’mon! It’s safer here! There’s a gun shop up ahead. We can rearm here. We’ll probably find more people there too.
Leon: Whaddya think?
Helena: I don’t see any other options…

Rookie Police Officer: Hey! Is anyone here?
Gunshop Owner: Yeah, me! I’m holed up on the second floor! Beat it!
Peter: C’mon, man! Open up! You gotta let us in!
Gunshop Owner: Forget it! Those things are crawling all over my shop! So unless you wanna get rid of ‘em, this door stays closed!
Leon: Who does he think we are, exterminators?
Nancy: Aaargh! Peter, help me!
Rookie Police Officer: Take my hand! Are you OK!?
Peter: What’re you, crazy?! Spare the heroics, she’s just slowing us down, anyway!
Helena: What’s the matter with you? She’s your girlfriend, isn’t she?
Peter: Shit, my gun’s jammed! Gimme your gun! Yeah, you idiots can fight it out if you want! I’m getting the hell outta here! No! Stay back! Get the hell away from me! No!
Nancy: Peter, no!

Gunshop Owner: Hey! Pretty quiet down there… You guys still breathing?
Leon: For the time being… Store’s clear! You wanna let us in now?
Gunshop Owner: … All right. Get your asses up here, before I change my mind. Nice work down there. Good news is, I’ve got some folks comin’ for me in a bus. Any minute now. If we can make it, it’s a straight shot to the Cathedral. People are evacuating there. Heard it on the radio. But that’s a big “if”. It’s a shit storm out there. We ain’t waitin’ for any stragglers. Yo, Japanese dude! Get the shutters!
Japanese dude: (In Japanese) Leave it to me!
Gunshop Owner: We can’t hold out here! Get in to the next room! Come on, people! Dammit, any more weight and the floor’s gonna collapse!
Leon: They come in extra large now?
Gunshop Owner: Come on, you big tub ‘a shit!
Leon: He’s gonna bring this whole place down on us!
Gunshop Owner: This way! C’mon, move it! Move it!

Gunshop Owner: Christ on a crutch!
Leon: Help him up! I’ll cover you!
Rookie Police Officer: Hold on! I’m gonna pull you up!
Gunshop Owner: Forget about me! Just look after yourselves!
Nancy: No, we’re all gonna make it through this!
Japanese dude: (In Japanese) The bus is here!
Gunshop Owner: The bus is here, people! We have to get down to the street! The emergency exit’s open! Come on!
Leon: Get us outta here!
Bus Driver: That tub a’lard’s in our way!
Gunshop Owner: Aw, dammit! Get off of me, ya rat bastard!
Japanese dude: (In Japanese) Dammit! Dammit! Pops! Hold on, I’m coming, pops!
Gunshop Owner: You coming with me, son? Fine, I’ll buy you a drink in hell, boy!
Rookie Police Officer: Damn, he was so close to making it!
Leon: Go, now!
