Hunnigan: … 90% of the population in Tall Oaks has been infected with the virus. That rounds out to about 70,000 hostiles. We also received word that an organization named “Neo-Umbrella” just claimed responsibility for the attack.
Leon: Neo-Umbrella?
Hunnigan: I know what you’re thinking.
Leon: Yeah. This is Raccoon City all over again.
Hunnigan: That’s all the news I’ve got. Now it’s your turn to help me. I need to know what’s in that cathedral. I’ve got suits breathing down my neck for info.
Leon: Suits?
Hunnigan: Specifically, Derek C. Simmons — National Security Advisor.
Bus Driver: Hang on!
Nancy: No! No—!
Rookie Police Officer: No! Help me! Please God, help!
Bus Driver: Son of a— Get off me!
Leon: Ah, shit!
Helena: Back off! We’re going over!
Leon: Brace yourself! Grab hold of something!
Leon: They escape the infection… only to die like this.
Helena: There’s no time to grieve. We have to get to the cathedral.
Hunnigan: Leon! Helena! Are you OK?
Leon: Yeah. For whatever reason, we’re still alive.
Helena: We’re cutting through the cemetery to reach the cathedral.
Leon: Dammit, it’s locked.
Helena: C’mon the, we’ll figure something out. Maybe there’s a key.
Leon: I guess there are worse things than chasing a dog through a cemetery.
Helena: Yeah. It could be chasing us!
Leon: Now let’s get to that cathedral.
Leon: OK, we’re in.
Helena: Leon, are you alright?
Leon: Well, nothing broken anyway. Good thing, too. I kinda doubt you’d be doubling back for me.
Helena: You never know. Meet me at the cathedral!
Leon: Man, you’re a sight for sore eyes.
Helena: Thanks. You coming into this cathedral with me or what? I see it! Hurry! Hello? I know someone’s in there! Open up!
Paul: Are you crazy? Those things will kill us!
Leon: Look, it’s just us! Hurry up and let us in!
Paul: Bullshit I will! I can hear ‘em out there!
Helena: OK, OK. We’ll get rid of them first.
Gil: Paul! Is someone out there? You gotta let ‘em in!
Paul: And let a bunch of walking corpses in with them!? Are you nuts!?
Helena: Church bells? Are you kidding me?!
Leon: Get ready! Here comes company!
Gil: I’ll give you guys a hand! Let’s waste these things!
Leon: Glad there was someone in there with a little backbone.
Gil: Paul! Open the door — now!
Paul: All right, all right! Get your asses in here!
Leon: I’m putting a lot on the line trusting you! I hope this info of yours is worth it!
Helena: It is. I’ll stake my life on it.
Gil: Are you…?
Leon: Sorry, guys. We’re not rescue workers.
Helena: There’s a secret door by the altar that leads underground, but we need to find a way to open it.
Leon: You wanna tell me what’s down there?
Helena: It’s better if I show you.
Nancy’s Mother: Heavenly father, I beg of you. Please watch over my Nancy. She’s with her boyfriend. I… I just don’t trust he’ll take care of her.
Marco’s Father: My son, Marco — he’s in the BSAA! You watch! He’ll be here with the whole army any minute now!
Leon: This isn’t just part of the décor.
Helena: You’re right. There’s more here than meets the eye. There are stairs under this statue. It was open the last time I was here. Shit, what do we do?
Leon: We’ll figure something out. Let’s take a look around.
Leon: It’s identical to the other one. Something tells me they’re not just for show. Nothing. We must be missing something. “The two motherly saints will reveal the path.” Now we’re getting somewhere.
Helena: I’ve had enough of these games. Let’s go!
Helena: Leon, pushing the switch on these statues seems to shut ‘em down.
Leon: This is gonna get a little bit dicey.
Helena: We don’t have time for this crap! You think this is gonna stop me… Just keep moving!
Leon: My thoughts exactly. Wouldn’t want to miss out on all the fun.
Helena: OK, let’s go.
Leon: That’s all of them. Kind of feel bad shooting antiques. Did you hear that?
Helena: I hope it was a door. Come on!
Helena: What is that thing?
Leon: You’re asking me?
Survivor: Are you OK!?
Leon: I’m guessing that’s what unleashed this hell.
Helena: Where the hell did that thing come from?!
Leon: Look out for its gas! Don’t panic, people! Just move away from it! Everyone, out of the way! We’ll take care of this!
Helena: We have to do something! People are dying! Everyone, run!
Leon: All right… Ready?
Helena: Yeah.
Leon: Wish I believed God were looking out for us right now, but I think we’re on our own.
Helena: I think this panel and the numbers on doors are connected.
Leon: Got it.
Helena: Nice security system. You just have to punch in the numbers on the doors.
Leon: It’s open, let’s go.
Helena: Wait… I remember this place! Deborah must be close!
Leon: … Who?
Helena: Please be OK! Oh, please no… Thank God. It’s not here. But where is she? Come on, where are you? Deborah, if you’re here, give me a sign!
Leon: I’m getting kind of tired of you stringing me along. Are you gonna fill me in here, or what?
Helena: I will, it’s just… we’re running out of time. Please, Leon. Bear with me a little longer.
Leon: What the hell is all this?
Helena: None of these were here three days ago.
Leon: … Ada!? Is this what you wanted to show me?
Helena: No! I thought…
Leon: What the hell did I just see, Ada!?
Helena: So that woman, or whatever. You know her?
Leon: Kind of, yeah… We’ve gotta do this again? It worked!
Leon: I get it. We have to activate them one by one.
Helena: Why does everything have to be complicated?
Leon: Come on, Helena. We gotta activate this thing.
Helena: Hurry, Leon. We gotta activate this thing. Finally! Come on!
Leon: Watch yourself. They could overwhelm us if we’re not careful.
Leon: Why can’t you fill me in yet?
Helena: Because you probably wouldn’t believe me. That’s why I want to show you. And when I do… you’ll have all the answers and proof you’ll need.
Leon: So back at that lab… that tape…
Helena: With your friend in it? What’s the story on her, anyway?
Leon: Look, if you want answers, you should be prepared to give a couple yourself.
Helena: You’re right. That’s only fair, I guess.
Helena: Deborah! Deborah! Deborah! Can you hear me!
Deborah: Helena…?
Helena: Thank goodness!
Leon: OK, enough with the mystery. What the hell is going on here?
Helena: Let’s just get her out of here, then I’ll tell you everything. I promise. Hang in there, sis!
Leon: You take care of her. Leave any hostiles to me!
Helena: Deborah, can you hear me? I’m gonna get you home.
Leon: The roof is caving in!
Helena: Leon! Help!
Hunnigan: Leon! Helena! Where are you? I can’t pinpoint your position at all! What the hell is —
Leon: Hunnigan, come in! Ah, dammit!
Helena: Deborah! Just hold on, we’re almost there… Deborah, stay with me, all right? No! Deborah! No! No… No, this can’t be happening!
Leon: Ada!
Ada: You look like you’ve seen a ghost.
Leon: Ada, what the hell is going on here?
Ada: It’s complicated. But this isn’t the time or the place. These walkways won’t hold. We need to get to the lower levels!
Helena: I’m so sorry, Deborah! It’s all my fault!
Leon: Helena! Get away from her!
Helena: Stop! Don’t shoot, please!
Helena: Deborah? Where are you!?
Ada: Here.
Leon: A ring?
Ada: Don’t get the wrong idea. It’ll make sense later.
Leon: OK. Watch out, you two! She’s strong!
Ada: Watch out for yourself. You should put her down… If you have any sympathy for her.
Helena: This is a nightmare… It can’t be real!
Leon: Ada! Helena! … A little help here?
Ada: The more things change, the more they stay the same.
Leon: All aboard! Let’s hope this is a non-stop ride outta here.
Ada: I wouldn’t count on it.
Helena: Just stop it, Deborah! This isn’t you! Deborah!
Ada: Don’t tell me you’re still crying. She’s trying to kill you.
Helena: Don’t you think I know that? Deborah! Deborah! No more tears! Not until I avenge your death. Please… Forgive me… I’m going to make him pay for this.
Helena: Look at me! It’s gonna be OK. Look at me. Look at me! It’s gonne ba OK! Just keep your eyes on me.
Deborah: Help me…
Helena: I’m gonna get you out of here, Deborah! Deborah, look at me. We’re gonna get through this! Not, let her go! Not her! Not my sister! Take me! Please! I’ll do anything. Please. Please, please don’t hurt her! Deborah!
Helena: I didn’t know what else to do. So I helped him. I helped Simmons breach the president’s security.
Ada: That sounds like Simmons, all right.
Leon: Why the hell would he do all this?
Ada: Long story. We’re up against the people who really run this country… in a very dangerous game, and if you don’t play your hand right…
Hunnigan: Leon, where are you?
Leon: Is Simmons there?
Hunnigan: Yes…
Leon: Hunnigan, you need to be careful. I think he’s the one who did all—
Simmons: Did I hear my name?
Helena: Simmons.
Simmons: The president spoke highly of you, Agent Kennedy.
Leon: Likewise. He told me you’d been friends for 30 years.
Simmons: Tell me, is it true you were the only ones present at the time of his death?
Leon: What are you saying?
Simmons: Well, you must be aware that you are both suspects in this attack?
Helena: What!?
Simmons: Agent Harper, at the time of the attack, you had abandoned your post, leaving the president vulnerable. You must admit such behavior is suspicious.
Helena: You son of the bitch! You’re the one who planned all this!
Simmons: With what evidence could you base such an outrageous accusation? I am the National Security Advisor. It is my job to prevent terrorist attacks, not cause them.
Helena: You liar!
Leon: Helena!
Simmons: If the two of you feel so strongly about your innocence, then you should have no problem turning yourselves in.
Helena: I’m going to make him pay!
Leon: Looks like things just went from bad to worse.
