Hugh: Diana… Damn it, not like this… Hang on, kiddo…!
Station AI: Model D-I-0336-7 confirmed.
Hugh: Maybe that machine over there…? All right…
Diana: Why would she do this? We’re supposed to be the same, but… I don’t understand her at all.
Hugh: Hey—don’t worry about that. What now? Damn! How many times I gotta go through this!?
Diana: Am I all better…?
Hugh: Not yet. Gotta get that junk outta you and get you back on your feet. Wait here.
Diana: I’m coming with you.
Hugh: You can’t. Not like that, you need to rest—
Diana: Hugh, I’m going.
Hugh: OK. Then let’s move. Now let’s go get you that reactor.
Hugh: Diana? Stay with me.
Diana: I’m here.
Hugh: You know, you could have stayed behind…
Diana: You’re… OK without me?
Hugh: No, it’s just… Don’t overdo it, all right?
Diana: All right.
Diana: Some kind of noise is affecting my hack.
Hugh: You all right?
Hugh: Has that noise settled down at all?
Diana: I think this black stuff is causing it…
Hugh: Don’t worry… We’ll get you fixed up soon.
Hugh: No way around this… We’ve just gotta push through…!
Diana: Hugh—
Hugh: Damn! She can’t take much more of this…
Hugh: Hey, down there. Is that a reactor?
Diana: Looks like it… the projector’s broken.
Dr. Higgins: It is done. Work on the Pragmata prototype is now complete. It will be a fine replacement for Daisy in the clinical trials ahead.
Hugh: Hey, if that was you, then… That was Dr. Higgins?
Diana: Yeah… That’s right…
Dr. Higgins: You will need to give us clear, actionable data to cure Daisy. This is your most important purpose.
Seven: My purpose…
Diana: The doctor spent years researching rare diseases.
Hugh: Is it… all coming back to you?
Diana: Yeah… I’ve just finished processing the memory data from Eight…
Diana: I was created to help the doctor… save Daisy… But… I failed in my purpose.
Hugh: What do you mean?
Diana: I wasn’t good enough…
Hugh: You OK back there? Don’t overdo it.
Diana: OK.
Hugh: If they’ve got the cash to build this place, they could at least spare an extra reactor.
Hugh: Pretty gutsy lookin’ bots for a Pragmata lab, don’t ya think?
Diana: I think these were made to fight.
Hugh: More security, great.
Hugh: What was Dr. Higgins like?
Diana: All the doctor ever talked about was Daisy.
Diana: Oh…!
Dr. Higgins: Christmas is right around the corner… Daisy…I-I’m sorry… I can’t spend it with you. Once you’re better, I’m done. No more research—I’m coming home. We’re so close. Just hang on… a little longer…
Hugh: So they were living apart…
Diana: He had to be here on the moon for his research.
Hugh: All that work, it was all for Daisy… And the research and you—everything.
Diana: Yeah…
Dr. Higgins: Another incompatibility… Another failure! The results are always the same. The Pragmata fails to adapt to the mutation. There is no time for this. Forget about Seven—we must find another way.
Hugh: An incompatibility?
Diana: Yeah… I couldn’t do what he wanted. I have no purpose.
Eight: So this is where we part ways.
Seven: Yeah…
Eight: You may forget who I am but… I will always remember you.
Seven: Eight…
Eight: We’ll meet again… someday.
Hugh: Hey, Diana! Here we go! A reactor! Damn it! Walked right into their trap!
Hugh: Hey! Stay with me now!
Diana: I’m fine… Really…
Hugh: Hold on. We’re gonna get you better! Come on, stay with me… We got the reactor, now it’s your turn.
Dr. Higgins: Yes! Finally, a positive result! This could be the key to saving Daisy! All thanks to you, Eight. We must proceed carefully, but with your help, we’ll get there. I guess I will have to pull the plug on Seven. A pity, but it’s served its purpose.
Diana: Because… I-I’m useless… He put me… in the vault…
Hugh: Shh… easy now. I got ya…
Hugh: Come on, come on, come on! Diana… Are these your memories?
Diana: I was useless. I’m useless.
Hugh: No, Diana. Stop. Don’t think like that. Think about what you want.
Diana: The ocean… I want to go… with you.
Hugh: Yeah, that’s good—real good. Just hang in there, and we’ll go anywhere you want. Damn it! Not now! Ugh, this is the same freakin’ bot from earlier! Damn! I can’t take this thing on alone. But hell if I’m gonna leave her here. Hang tight, Diana. I got you covered!
Diana: I feel… different. Something’s changed… Deletion Protocol: Initiate!
Hugh: Nice fight, kiddo.
Diana: Thank you.
Hugh: I must say, not sure if you got a fix or an upgrade.
Diana: Did I do good?
Hugh: Yeah, you did great.
Diana: Hey, Hugh? When that black stuff got on me… I just felt so sad and… empty.
Hugh: Sad, huh… Like you’d picked up on her feelings or something through all that gunk?
Diana: What if Eight feels like that all the time? But what she’s doing? That’s wrong.
Hugh: Yeah, I think so too. Let’s go stop her.
Diana: Hugh?
Hugh: Yeah, we’re outta here. Let’s head back to the Shelter to regroup. Didn’t see this crap when we first got here…
Diana: I can get rid of it now, Hugh!
Hugh: Pretty darn impressive.
Diana: Hehehe…
Hugh: There’s more blocking the tram too…
Diana: I’ll handle it!
Hugh: All right! Back to the Shelter!
Diana: Right!
Back to the Shelter
Station AI: A new destination has been added to the tram line. The Central Port is now accessible.
Hugh: Once we’re ready, let’s head to the Central Port. We gotta stop Eight and get back to Earth.
Cabin: New functions have been added to the Cabin system. Shelter level upgraded! Central terminals now loaded with shiny new stuff!
Hugh: I think Eight’s at the Central Port.
Diana: I wonder what it’s like there.
Hugh: Let’s move out to the Central Port and take care of Eight.
Hugh: OK, you ready to do this?
Diana: I wanna stop her, but… I can’t believe she’s acting this way… We’re both Pragmata, so there’s gotta be a way to get along, right?
Hugh: Pragmata or not—doesn’t mean she’ll listen what you’ve gotta say…
Diana: I just don’t wanna hurt her…
Hugh: We’ll see what we can do.
