Watery
Saga (V.O.): Wake said he could use the Clicker to undo the horror story. I need to get back to Bright Falls, to Casey and Wake. I should check in with Casey.
Saga (V.O.): I need to get the Clicker to Wake and close this damn case, before my family gets dragged any further into it.
Saga (V.O.): Come on, Casey. No answer. David. Pick up, pick up, pick up.
David: Hey, this is David. Leave a message.
Saga: David, can you call me back? It’s urgent. Please.
Saga (V.O.): Why isn’t David answering? Is Logan alright? How does this all work? Has the horror story already gotten her? Wake should know.
Saga (V.O.): The flooding’s lowered. I should look around, see what the water was hiding.
Saga (V.O.): I need bolt cutters.
Saga (V.O.): Need to find the key.
Saga (V.O.): This bridge got fixed quick.
Charline: I don’t think everything’s okay in Coffee World. Have you noticed? I’m getting this, like, off feeling every night after work.
Charlie: What, are you having nightmares again? Like when you were a kid. Do you need your security blanket? Do you need Blankie Blankerson?
Charline: You keep Blankie out of this!
Dockworker: Well, at least the flooding’s gone down.
Angler: Yeah. But the fish aren’t biting any better. You know, you really shouldn’t be out here by yourself this late.
Dockworker: You kidding? Watery is the safest, most boring town in the world.
Angler: I wish that was the case.
Townsperson 1: Quite the show that Ahti fella put on today, eh?
Townsperson 2: I loved it! I had a half a mind to come down and start dancing.
Townsperson 1: Well why didn’t you? You’ve got to grab life’s gifts while you can! It’s so quiet now, feels like I’ve suddenly gone deaf. Those old folks sure can get loud, huh?
Townsperson 2: I don’t mind it. What happened to “grab life’s gifts while you can”?
Bright Falls
Casey: Alan Wake. My name comes up, your books come up, you come up. I’ve read them. There are echoes of my life in there that make it feel like someone’s been watching me. What happened to Alan Wake? The unanswered mystery. Never expected to find you alive.
Alan: Ah, my head’s killing me.
Casey: I think you like using people, Wake. Taking their lives and twisting them into your stories. And when someone gets hurt, it’s kickass material for the next one. Shit, spilled my coffee.
Alan: I take it you’re not a fan then Agent Casey.
Casey: This is not your playground. And I’m not your fucking creation.
Alan: It doesn’t work that way…
Casey: Shut up. Get down. FBI!
Cultist: We want the writer! No one else needs to get hurt!
Casey: Fuck off! Shit!
Alan: Hey, what are you doing? Ah. It’s Scratch. He’s close.
Casey: Stay down.
Alan: Wait! I need a gun.
Casey: No chance. FBI!
Alan: Ah! Casey, look out! It’s coming!
Alan: Aah. What the fuck?
Casey: Hold it! Freeze!
Cultist: Run! It’s here! It’s fucking here!
Alan (V.O.): I had escaped the Dark Place. So had the Dark Presence. Scratch…
Casey: Drop your weapons! Now!
Alan (V.O.): That’s Casey. He was still alive.
Taken: You let Logan drown. Made her sick.
Alan (V.O.): The light cut through the darkness…
Casey: I am a federal agent! Surrender now!
Taken: Lost. The Cult of the Tree. Top 100 American small towns.
Casey: I’ve had it with you cultist maniacs!
Alan: Casey! Look out! It’s him!
Saga: FBI. Drop the knife. Ilmo?
Ilmo: Saga, you don’t understand.
FBC Agent: FBC. Stay down. Positive ID. Alan Wake.
Estevez: Agent Anderson. Agent Kiran Estevez. Federal Bureau of Control.
FBC Agent: Target secured.
Saga: Wait. This is my case.
Estevez: This is no longer an FBI investigation. The case has been transferred to us.
Saga (V.O.): The Clicker. I can’t trust them with it.
Saga: Nothing comes to mind.
Estevez: Okay. Then, your work here is done. Hey, you did well.
Saga: Wait. My partner, Agent Casey, is MIA.
Estevez: We’ll look for him.
Saga: He’s my partner. Damn it.
Estevez: Agent? Go home.
Saga (V.O.): No. Fuck this. I was so close to getting the Clicker to Wake. I’m not done here. Not until I find Casey. Not until my family is safe from this horror story.
